About This Journal

Teaching Social Studies in the Peach State is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed online journal that publishes practitioner driven articles related to teaching social studies.

The biannual journal is co-sponsored by the Georgia Council for Social Studies, the Georgia Council for History Education, the Georgia Council for Economic Education, and the Georgia Council for Civic Engagement.

The Teaching Social Studies in the Peach State is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
