Description

My presentation is a creative analysis of my senior portfolio, where I used the driving theme of agency to refine my work. My psychoanalysis essay on Joe Goldberg, my comparative paper on the Seven Deadly Sins in the Japanese anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the Early British literature poem Piers Plowman showed me that an academic paper is not always limited to the prompt, but rather my willingness to explore beyond its confines. While my speculative fiction piece, “Kavina,” taught me how to format a story in Shunn Manuscript format, my project in Twine inspired me to become an interactive fiction writer with an emphasis on player agency and world development.
