Description
Places! Is a game that lets the user experience what it is like being an actor at a summer theatre camp. The game follows the actor throughout 2 weeks at a summer theatre camp and the user is presented with choices on what to do throughout their time at camp. These choices will determine the outcome of the final show and the user's future in the production. Similar in gameplay to Life is Strange or Until Dawn, This game will present you choices during conversations with other characters or at milestone events in the game; The player will eventually have either good or bad consequences respective to the line of decisions they have made throughout the story. Players will encounter milestone events such as auditions, Rehearsals, tech week, and performances. Creating the game based in a summer theatre camp lets the user develop an idea of the time and commitment, as well as a rough realistic timeline, needed for a theatrical production at a low-stakes level.
