Assessment and SoTL - Research
Abstract
Wanting to have students apply course material, we created an exam that asked students to create a project utilizing their interests, hobbies, and/or skills. We surveyed graduate students enrolled in various College of Education courses who were tasked to complete this project-based assessment. We asked about their experiences working through the exam as well as their thoughts on implementing assessments that encourage autonomy. In this presentation, we discuss those findings.
