Description
In this study, the music artist, Taylor Swift, and her re-recorded songs that are now (Taylor’s Version) were compared to the original songs then examined for any changes that were made in the newer versions. The artifacts that were used in this study were all of the original songs and Swift’s re-recorded version of the songs. Along with other media artifacts such as album cover changes, lyric changes and changes in minutes of the albums or songs. The theory that was applied was cultivation theory and how it is implemented in the phenomena of Swift and her music. The study did discover that there are several significant changes that Taylor Swift has made from her original songs to her re-recorded songs.
