Description

In my creative analysis presentation, I will be reflecting on the poetry chapbook that I developed for my Honors College thesis, which explores the nature of love. This chapbook consists of a small collection of poems designed to showcase my own poetry as the outcome of my research on love and how it manifests in a multitude of different ways. This body of work will showcase my growth as a creative writer as it relates to voice, imagery, and structure. Each verse became a testament to my growth as a poet, reflecting not only a refined understanding of language and form but also a deepening connection to the emotions and experiences that shape our lives. As I navigated the delicate balance between vulnerability and craft, my poetic voice matured, weaving together intricate narratives and evocative imagery that painted the tapestry of my personal and creative development.. The goal of my research was not to find an answer to the question of 'what is love?’, but to begin to understand why there is no answer at all.
