My project aims to explain how I produced a creative portfolio to showcase my different skills in writing. I assembled my portfolio to establish my versatility as a creative writer across genres. I included narrative, poetry, and experimental work to endorse my proficiency in these specific categories that I wish to focus on in my career. This created a strong self-brand that emphasizes my values of clarity and creativity intertwined with innovative communication. The significance of my process developed my understanding of self-branding by bringing my attention to the small details. Everything in a portfolio can be used to speak about one’s style, personality, and abilities. In my presentation, I explain how I went about curating my pieces and formatting my portfolio into a narrative. I describe my creative process and how I used the portfolio’s format to help substantiate my self-brand.
