Abstract

The Philosophy major is for students who are passionate about ideas, and who possess a curiosity about the great ideas that have guided the development of world cultures. Philosophy majors love to read, discuss, and question ideas.

Philosophy is also an excellent choice for students who wish to continue in other fields. As we know, the current job market requires adaptability, and most adults will change career paths several times over a lifetime. Philosophy majors are logical thinkers and strong communicators, which prepares them for a wide range of career options, including the jobs of the future.
