Abstract or Description
Presentation co-presented by Georgia Southern faculty member Lacey D. Huffling with Aerin Benavides and Catherine Matthews at North American Association for Environmental Education Research Symposium, Madison, WI.
Using a “Disabilities Studies in Education” framework and “Universal Design for Learning” practices, we analyzed our work with high school students who were deaf and hard of hearing. Our findings challenge how field ecology work is typically accomplished and provide implications for increasing access and diversity in EE.
