Abstract
The use of Learning Assistants (LAs) is a variation of and similar to other peer-led or near-peer teaching strategies, such as peer tutoring. During Academic Year 2020/21, former Anatomy & Physiology I and II students were integrated into the teaching in lab sessions as Learning Assistants (LAs). At the end of each semester, students in lab sections with LAs were asked to complete a feedback survey. The anonymous survey contained questions with categorical answer options as well as open questions. Our objective was to get a better feeling for how students perceived the value of LAs to their own learning.
