Assessment and SoTL - Research
Abstract
This study in progress will describe the work of College of Education faculty who are part of a community of practice developing SoTL projects. Collaboration in this community of practice generated an inquiry about whether student participants in our SoTL project would perceive themselves as capable of conducting their own SoTL or action research. Using the Research Readiness Self-Assessment (Ivanitskaya et al., 2004), the researchers gathered data at the beginning of the semester and will share the current findings. Additionally, the researchers will explain how they designed the study and share what data will be collected in the future.
