Abstract
The proposed project will develop students’ strong appreciation for the value of standards and standardization, by immersion in systematic trainings through lectures, labs, and industrial internships. To improve students’ workforce career readiness, virtual plant tours and webinars from industrial professionals will be offered. The plant tours, lab projects, and seminars will be documented in videos and integrated with learning modules to form a package for easy replication. The standards of robotics and additive manufacturing (AM) will be covered in this project.
