Abstract
The Art of Storytelling to Promote Learning & Transfer Knowledge
In an era of technology and difficult concepts in academics, educators are faced with mandates of thinking outside the box. However, we, as educators, are missing a precious gem by not first looking and thinking inside the box and using our personal stories. The textbook should be seen as a means of reinforcement and you being the subject matter expert (professor) should be the igniter for learning. Using your practical experience and technology can be an excellent way to impart knowledge to an online learning environment by incorporating storytelling into your instructional skills.
