Roxie A. Remley papers

The Roxie A. Remley Papers at Georgia Southern University offer a rich window into the life and work of Roxie A. Remley—artist, educator, veteran, and community leader. This digital collection features selected photographs, letters, and other materials that shed light on her early life and her World War II service in the Women’s Army Corps.

Additional materials documenting her decades-long career at Georgia Southern and her involvement in local organizations are available to researchers at Henderson Library Special Collections. For more information, check out the Roxie A. Remley Finding Aid .

Researchers are also invited to explore a digital exhibition curated by graduate student Alyssa Watrous. More Than Meets the Eye examines how Georgia Southern women shaped the Women’s Army Corps.
