Abstract or Description

It is necessary to assess virtual manipulatives’ impact on the learning process. A possible approach is a framework that combines the wellknown concrete, pictorial and abstract levels with a proposed Virtuallevel. We will discuss preservice teachers’ understanding of the framework.
