Abstract

With 2014 being the centennial year of the War To End All Wars, it is appropriate to examine its beginnings and how the First World War is remembered around the world. How do Europeans understand the instigation of the war as compared to Americans? How do younger individuals (specifically college-age and younger) understand the war as compared to adults?
