About the Collection
GURC Mission Statement
The mission of the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference (GURC) is to serve students and faculty in the Southeastern United States as the region's preeminent undergraduate research and creative endeavors conference for the dissemination of original student scholarship conducted in partnership with a faculty/staff mentor. Further, GURC serves as a networking conference providing undergraduates with connections to career and graduate school opportunities.
GURC Implication of Mission Statement
The GURC is currently a partnership among colleges and universities located throughout the State of Georgia. The GURC is managed by a steering committee from each of the partner schools that provides a breadth of perspectives and a unified, high-quality service to undergraduate researchers and their mentors. GURC, further, provides graduate schools and the private sector with the opportunity to reach out to the best and brightest undergraduate researchers in the Southeastern United States.
Georgia Southern University hosted the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference in 2014 and 2015.
