Aims & Scope
As the official journal of the Georgia Educational Research Association (GERA), the aims of Georgia Educational Researcher (GER) are to promote educational research in Georgia and to foster the exchange of information and experiences relating to measurement, evaluation, and research. The scope of the journal is primarily focused on Georgia educational matters. Related topics pertaining to the Southeastern region of the United States are also considered.
In addition to traditional research articles using a variety of methodologies and representative forms, GER will consider publication of research reports, review essays, interviews, commentaries, think pieces, book reviews, articles on teaching educational research, reflections on doing educational research, practitioner reflections, and action research. At times, theme-focused issues will be published. GER welcomes proposals for theme-focused editions and volunteers to edit such editions.
