Aims & Scope of Becoming

The following information about Becoming is retained solely for reference, research, or recordkeeping, and does not represent the current publication status or activity of the journal.

The aims of Becoming are consistent with the aims of Georgia Association for Middle Level Education (GAMLE): to be a leader for continuous improvement in the education of middle grades students through promoting exemplary educational practices, and offering support and resources to all Georgia middle grades educators. Becoming is a forum for reports of best practices, research studies, collections of resources, book and other media reviews, interviews, and other content of interest to middle grades educators.

Following the decision of the GAMLE Board of Directors, Becoming has ceased publication. Volume 31, Issue 1 (2020) is the final published issue. This website is the official archive for volumes 29 through 31, which were originally published online. All previous volumes were published in print.
