About This Journal

Becoming is the journal of Georgia Association for Middle Level Education (GAMLE). This is an open-access, peer-reviewed electronic journal that is a forum for middle grades teachers, administrators, teacher educators, and other stakeholders to share best practices, resources, and research related to middle level education.

Following the decision of the GAMLE Board of Directors, Becoming has ceased publication. Volume 31, Issue 1 (2020) is the final published issue. This website serves as the official archive for volumes 29 through 31, which were originally published online. All previous volumes were published in print.
