Abstract
Malone, No. 11 Pirates Close Out Montevallo, 5-3, In PBC Tournament Second Day. Freshman reliever Chess Malone pitched 2.1 scoreless innings and allowed 11th-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University to escape with a 5-3 win over the University of Montevallo, Thursday afternoon (May 10) on the second day of the 2012 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament.
