Abstract for the conference program
The objective is to inform teachers on ways to engage students by implementing music and movement in every day instruction. We do this by meeting students on their playing field. Technology is becoming the focal point of everything in today's society, as instructors we must evolve with the change. This can be done by creating one-take videos, creating lyrics to a song that matches the content, and making dance movements that match the lyrics to songs; which will increase the retention rate of the content being delivered.
- one take videos are taken with cellular devices or chromebooks/ipads
The audience for this session is targeted to K-12 teachers. The session is clear and precise. In this session, everyone will be asked to participate. The participation will actually help guide educators on how to proper implement these strategies after the conference.
After this session, Educators will be fully aware on how to change small things within the classroom to give the students a environment that will change lives forever.
