According to poet Ellen Bryant Voigt, Apollonian poetry is orderly, rational, and erudite, often emphasizing intricate wordplay over sensory details, while Dionysian poetry is the opposite. This presentation will consist of several popular YouTube videos and discussion of their potential to inspire Dionysian writing that is vivid, surprising, and enlightening.
