How often have we been told that scholarship and teaching are parallel journeys, seldom intersecting? What if they’re more intertwined than we imagine? This keynote seeks to dispel common misconceptions about SoTL, including the often misunderstood delineation between teaching and scholarship. Drawing from my own teaching in large enrollment courses, I will highlight SoTL examples showcasing the transformative potential of SoTL when scholarship and teaching are blended.
