About SoTL – Analysis, synthesis, reflection, and discussion
Abstract
Panelists share their experiences on being part of an interdisciplinary SoTL Faculty Learning Community (FLC) at Savannah State University. Participants discuss the process of engaging in a community of practice that yielded SoTL research designs for classroom interventions to improve student learning. The presentation also summarizes the activities and outcomes from the FLC, how it promoted SoTL on campus, and ways to extend this model to encourage SoTL and faculty learning communities at other universities.
