Abstract
The 2017-2022 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) at JCSU is focused on Undergraduate Research. Previously, we reported development and validation of a Research Product Rubric (RPR) based on the Research Skill Development Framework. The RPR was used to evaluate Senior Investigative Papers (SIP) produced before and during the QEP. Comparison of ratings of papers sampled from 2013-2015 to those 2017-2018 show improvement across all six facets of the RPR since the initiation of the QEP; significant improvement is seen in Embark&Clarify and Find&Generate. As the project and the assessment dataset are not complete, this is an interim report only.
