Abstract
This 45 minute presentation will discuss the development of IC @ GHC, a Quality Enhancement plan, designed to increase the information competency of students at Georgia Highlands College . Attendees to the session will learn about the creation of assessment tools which offer insightful analysis yet provide for flexibility in instruction. Specific IC projects will be highlighted, results from IC assessment data will be analyzed, and future challenges will be examined. The need for appropriate QEP promotion and faculty training will also be addressed. The session concludes with a brainstorming session that allows attendees to come up with ideas for projects that they might be able to use in their efforts to increase the information competency levels among their own students.
