Abstract or Description

Pakistan, and especially Gwadar Port, will play a critical role in China's joint plans for linking China to Europe and beyond. However, building a corridor through a disputed territory is an illegitimate act that has caused severe security implications. With insurgent activities in Baluchistan, Afghan Taliban, Uighur militants from China’s western Xinjiang Province, security remains a major concern for CPEC.
