Classroom discipline and increasing instructional time has been the desire of educators, Daily, some educators and consultants focus on the students and forget to address the teacher's need to cope, This energetic and interactive presentation is for new, aspiring, practicing and veteran teachers.
Summary
This presentation. Fosters three methods" Coping, Recovery and Follow-Up. Coping is a unique strategy that teaches teachers how to create positive morale with his or her attitude. Recovery relates to strategically creating manage opportunities for students to recovery or correct undesirable behaviors. Finally, the results are less behavioral problems and more learning time,
Evidence
While serving as an administrator and teacher supervisor, I have had the opportunity to coach teachers and students. In the process of coaching teachers my unique style of taking care of the teacher, the student and seeing results is life changing. I have a three step process: Coping (Teacher Attitude), Recovery (Student Attitude) and Follow-Up (Results). Throughout my profession of working with teachers, student behavior has decreased, teacher morale has gone up and instructional time has increased.
Biographical Sketch
Dr. Alfreda Love is an Educational Teacher Consultant. She has over 15 years of experience in the educational system. Dr. Love is known for her powerful conversations relating to morale, teacher confidence and classroom management. Dr. Love earned her Bachelor's degree at Baylor University and her Master' degree from Prairie View A &M.
