The National Youth Advocacy and Resilience Conference is designed to provide quality, relevant training for all people interested in the well-being of youth, including but not limited to: Teachers at all levels, Principals and Assistant Principals, School Counselors and Psychologists, Health and Human Service Counselors and Personnel, Criminal Justice Professionals, Business and Community Leaders, Volunteer Service Providers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers.
"5H" Conference Strands:
The 5Hs—Head, Heart, Hands, Health, & Home—are protective factors promoting the holistic well-being of all children and youth, especially those placed at risk by poverty and other adverse conditions.
I. Head: Academic Achievement & Leadership
Closing achievement gaps and promoting learning for all children and youth Closing achievement gaps and promoting learning for all children and youth
II. Heart: Social & Emotional Skills
Fostering social and emotional skills and the social climate for all children and youth
III. Hands: Safety & Violence Prevention
Prevention violence and ensuring safety for all children and youth
IV: Health:
Promoting the mental and physical health of all children and youth
V: Home: Family & Community Engagement
Developing and enhancing family and community support for all children and youth

Conference presenters are encouraged to submit your presentation materials for publication in the conference archive! Submit your materials here:

Why Submit Your Presentation? More exposure for your work! Presentations are searchable through Google, and you will receive reports showing how many people have downloaded your presentation. You can also apply a Creative Commons License to your presentation, which controls how people can use your presentation materials.
What can you upload? PowerPoint Slides, papers, handouts, video, audio, and any other documents you used during your presentation.
