Purpose

Georgia Southern University offers virtual Private Networking (VPN) services to provide secure network communication and extend local network access to offsite locations. The purpose of this policy is to provide governance for using VPN services for remote access to university resources that meet USG requirements and NIST (800-171 & 800-53) standards.
