Abstract
Database normalization and entity relationship (ER) diagram are two major topics in database teaching. Some students have problems mastering those concepts in a short period of time. A Web-based tool is developed to provide students an interactive hands-on experience in data modeling. The tool is suitable for relational and ER data modeling in a database course.
