Professional Bio

My name is James C. Young. I currently hold the rank of Professor of Early Childhood Education. Between Georgia State Unversity and Clark Atlanta University, I have more than fifty years of teaching, researching, and advocating for urban learners. I have published more than fifty journal articles and have written five books in the areas of parenting, teacher education, and early literacy and learning.
