Presentation Abstract

What does PBIS look like in a large high school? Who are the stake holders? Who is on the PBIS team? When does it meet? Will this work at the High School level?

Answers to all of this and more! After a team is trained by the DOE, this presentation shows how to take what the team has develped and make it a framework for the school. The first year of implementing PBIS at Archer High School the number of office dicipline referrals decreased by over 50% even though the population increased. Through the implementation process, Archer has learned what worked and what did not. This presentation will help other high schools avoid pot-holes and have a smooth ride during their first few years of implementation. After all "the road to success is paved with good choices".
