Short Description
This presentation will cover strategies that Limestone College used to address the information needs of freshmen and transfer students. The Student Success @Limestone College digital portal provides essential support to students in navigating their way through their first year of college and has aided in retention efforts and increased freshmen GPA scores. This session will cover the creation of a comprehensive LibGuide used as a platform for library instruction for freshmen and transfer students (faculty & staff too), and how to provide easy access to vital resources, important campus events, how to embed the most modern technology, social media, and how to help ease the transition to campus for students new to the college.
