Presentation Description
This study uses syllabi from two colleges to evaluate their usefulness in identifying courses that might provide opportunities to improve collaboration with faculty. Each syllabus was searched using a set of key terms that would identify courses use library resources and /or require assignments involving information literacy skills. The course objectives were mapped to Bloom’s Taxonomy of Learning Domains to determine if the Bloom’s level of the stated course objectives affected the likelihood the syllabus would encourage use of the library or library resources.
