Scope and Content
Spanning August 1942 to November 1945, materials include letters written from Robert Donaldson French while in various locations in the United States and overseas in Europe during World War II. A significant portion of the letters are photocopies, while some original letters are present. Also included are 7 samples of V-mail from July 4 to July 8, 1944.
