Scope and Content
This collection consists of the personal and professional papers of Leodel Coleman concerning his WWII service from 1942-1945. It includes stories for local newspapers about the U.S. Marine Corps mainly regarding promotions, weddings, and Purple Heart recipients. Additional correspondence between Margaret Mitchell and family are included.
