This collection consists of the personal papers of Alawayne Nessmith concerning her participation in civic organizations from 1975 to 2000 in Statesboro, Georgia. The primary focus is the Statesboro-Georgia Southern Symphony Guild, but also included are documents related to her involvement in the Statesboro Civic Garden Club and Bulloch Council of Garden Clubs.
