Stories, Pledges, Nations and Power
Abstract
In this Works-in-Progress session, we explore the connections between power and the stories of nations. Whether it is who gets to write history or indoctrination through the repetition of empty pledges, the control of national stories is an important way to control minds. Questioning these stories and exposing the inherent contradictions is an important step to imagining different futures.
