Abstract
The article presents an interview with Michael Murray, an expert in mass media and broadcast journalism responsible for establishing media programs at a number of U.S. universities. In the interview Murray addresses a number of topics including his career at the University of Missouri, his dissertation on senator Joseph McCarthy, and his association with Joe Wershba, a television news executive.
