Abstract

Excerpt: "As many of you have heard, Georgia Southern University is facing the possibility of deep budget cuts for next year. The full extent of those cuts will not be known until a final state budget is approved later in the spring, but the cuts will undoubtedly impact the University in significant ways. I will pass along additional information on the College budget in next month's Class Notes. For now, we would greatly appreciate your support in letting your state legislators know how important higher education and Georgia Southern University are to the future of Georgia."
