Abstract

Armstrong Mourns Passing Of Former Head Men's Tennis Coach Dr. Robert Patterson. The Armstrong State University athletic department was saddened to learn of the passing of former head men's tennis coach Dr. Robert Patterson on March 22nd.

A Professor of History on campus for more than 20 years, Patterson served as the head men's tennis coach for Armstrong State from 1981-86, compiling a 44-17 overall record (.721) and twice earning Coach of the Year honors, in the South Atlantic Conference as well as the Big South Conference.
