Abstract

Alexis Mercer Named PBC Softball Player of the Year; Five Pirates Named All-PBC. Armstrong Atlantic State University sophomore Alexis Mercer has been named the 2013 Peach Belt Conference's Softball Player of the Year, while four other members of the No. 2-ranked Pirates earned All-Conference honors at the league's annual awards banquet on Friday evening in St. Augustine, Fla.
