Abstract

Armstrong Softball Knocks Off Carson-Newman, 3-2, In 8 Innings. Freshman Lauren Wilcox's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning sent the Armstrong Atlantic State University softball squad into the winner's bracket of the 2011 NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Regional on Friday afternoon at Bears Field in Hickory, N.C.
