Abstract

No. 9 Pirates Fifth At Kiawah Island Invitational; Cory Griffin Leads By One Stroke. The No. 9-ranked Armstrong State University men's golf team fired a first-round 288 on Monday to sit in fifth place after the first round of the Kiawah Island Invitational, hosted by USC Aiken at the Cougar Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, S.C. Senior Cory Griffin leads individually after shooting a first-round 67.
