Abstract

Shaquiell Mitchell Named AlphaGraphics Armstrong State Student-Athlete of the Month For January. A native of Adams Run, S.C., Mitchell averaged 15.6 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Armstrong State men's basketball team in the month of January. The senior had three games of 20+ points and two double-doubles during the month and has been one of the big reasons the Pirates are currently third in the Peach Belt Conference's East Division and on pace to quality for the PBC Tournament for the first time since 2012-13.
