Abstract

Lions Knock Off Pirates, 82-70, In Season Opener. Florida Memorial built a 13-point halftime lead and shot 47 percent from the floor in taking an 82-70 men's college basketball victory over Armstrong Atlantic State University in the Valdosta State University Classic on Friday evening, handing the Pirates a loss in their 2012-13 season opener.
