Abstract

Dennard's Walk-Off HR Sparks Pirates To DH Sweep Of Hurricanes. Junior first baseman R.J. Dennard launched a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to spark the Armstrong Atlantic State University baseball squad to a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader sweep of Georgia Southwestern University on Saturday at Pirate Field. Dennard's blast gave the Pirates a 5-4 win in game one, with game two going to Armstrong, 4-3.
