Abstract
Three Pirates Named To Big South All-Decade Baseball Team. Three members of Armstrong State College baseball from the 1980s were named to the Big South Conference's All-Decade team, released today by conference officials. Pitcher Bill Gearhart, outfielder Mike Mitchener and first baseman Charlie Broad were each named to the team, which covers the first four years of the conference's existence as an NCAA Division I league.
